3D work

To create this piece I used sculpting mesh. I dipped it in water to make it malleable, I used thin metal wire to create the headband and the two tiers. I connected the roses to the wire using hot glue.

This piece has been manipulated, I rolled up magazine paper, I used sellotape and a hot glue gun to hold it together. I used thin metal wire to form the headband, covering this with magazine paper.

This piece is a combination of the two previous head pieces. I used sculpting mesh to create this piece, manipulating the mesh the same way I did to the paper. However this time I have added different colour dyes.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MIXED MEDIA

I used calico for the background of this piece, I used brown and beige water colours too. I took pictures of my face, edited them and then used a zigzag machine stitch to combine them. For the writing I used black chalk, ink, paint and charcoal. I added red tape.
